Quweshia Williams: I am pursuing a career in Electrical Engineering because I really love math, problem solving and figuring out how to make something work properly. It has always been my dream to become an engineer someday; I have been working hard to achieve my goal. I attended Lake Orion High School my 9th and 10th grade year; then I transferred to Waterford Kettering High School and I maintained a 3.2 GPA. I attended an Engineering and Emerging Technologies program at an Oakland Technical Campus (OTC) in Clarkston for have the day. In my spare time I go to church, dance, sing, act and make my own jewelry. I have also volunteered at the Baldwin Center and Orion Fish. At the Baldwin Center, I worked with young children during the summer program there. And my experience Orion Fish included helping the less fortunate. These were both great experiences that allowed interacting with people and helping the community. I believe being an engineer will likewise help people that are in need and make the world a better place.
